Your mail app is often dictated by work, but personal users can still choose a client that matches their accounts.
Gmail app
Best when primary mail is Google-hosted. Strong search and Material design integration on Android.
Outlook app
Natural fit for Microsoft 365 and many school or work tenants. Focused inbox and calendar integration appeal to office workflows.
Multi-account reality
Both can add multiple accounts on supported setups. Prioritize reliable notifications for security codes over visual themes.
