This policy explains the current, basic privacy practices for DroidShelf, an informational website about Android apps and device use. It should be reviewed whenever site features, hosting, analytics, advertising or other third-party services change.
Information processed to operate the site
When you visit a website, the hosting provider and security systems may process technical request data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamps and error logs. This information may be used to deliver pages, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and maintain security. The exact logs and retention periods are controlled in part by the hosting provider.
Cookies and WordPress
DroidShelf uses WordPress. WordPress may set technical cookies for authenticated users and administrative features. Ordinary visitors may not receive the same cookies. This site does not currently offer visitor accounts or user comments. Browser settings can be used to manage or delete cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may affect some functions.
Forms, analytics and advertising
The site does not currently provide an on-site visitor registration form or host app installation files. No analytics or advertising integration is intentionally enabled as part of the current DroidShelf build. If analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking, embedded media, or contact forms are added later, this policy must be updated to describe what they collect and how they operate before they are enabled.
Links to other websites
App listings and articles may link to official developer websites, app stores or other third-party resources. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies and practices. Review the destination site’s policy before providing information or installing software. DroidShelf does not host APK files.
Data sharing and retention
DroidShelf does not currently collect profile information through visitor accounts. Technical logs may be retained by the host for security, maintenance or legal requirements. We do not claim control over retention practices of external websites you choose to visit.
Children
DroidShelf is general technology information and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when site functionality or applicable requirements change. The date above indicates the latest revision published here.
